Female genital tuberculosis (FGTB) affects the fallopian tubes (90 %), endometrium (inner lining of the uterus) 60 % and ovaries 10 to 30 %. In most cases there may not be any symptoms. The most common presentation is subfertility or failure to conceive and menstrual irregularities.
